I am a fully qualified psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council in the UK, and a qualified yoga teacher. Combining approaches from yoga and psychology, I am passionate about helping others achieve positive wellbeing and equilibrium in their lives. In the current day we experience multiple stressors and draw on our primate stress response to cope with these. By introducing simple techniques into our life we can counteract our heightened responses to stress when they are not required and live a more calm, present and positive life.
Our session will begin with a solution focused discussion to help us explore areas that are going well for you and also to identify where stressors are coming from in your life. We will consider the stress response system that is innate to our bodies and guides many of our day-to-day reactions. Through goal setting we will identify next steps and look at simple techniques from yoga, mindfulness and relaxation practices to support you in managing stress and leading a calmer and more balanced life.
